Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
This decadent smoothie is perfect for a post workout…fuels you right back up! Also, works as a healthy dessert choice. Loaded with protein and creamy peanut butter you will be more than satisfied with this smoothie.
The moment a workout is finished my first thought…FOOD! I usually sip on this healthy smoothie until I can make more food. It’s important to eat the right foods after you workout so you don’t crash later- ugh how many times have I taken a nap because I didn’t fuel myself after depleting all my energy. In this recipe I use Vega Protein Powder you can however use any kind of protein powder you would like. There are plenty of times this smoothie helps cut those late night craving for sugar.
Ingredients
½ frozen banana
1 scoop vega protein powder, vanilla
1 heaping teaspoon organic peanut butter
1 tablespoon cocao powder
1 cup almond milk
Procedure
Add all ingredients to high speed blender. Blend until smoothie.
CHEF’S TIPS & TRICKS
- You can use any non-dairy milk substitute. Any option taste good!
- I use Vega Protein powder because it was approved by my network of nutritionist. It is plant based approved!
- I usually pair this with a simple Vegan “Egg” Salad on toast- fills me right up!
