Sumac Pomegranate Dressing

Vegan | Gluten-Free

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ tablespoons  ground sumac, soaked in 8 teaspoons of  warm h2o

  • 1/4 cup, 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 teaspoons white wine vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint or parsley leaves, finely chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil

Procedure:

  1. Soak sumac in warm h20 and set aside. Add all ingredients except olive oil in a medium bowl, whisking well or in a blender. Slowly whisk or blend the EVOO. Adjust seasoning to taste with salt and lemon juice.
