5 Dairy Free Everyday Dressing Recipes

These dressings are a staple in my kitchen.. My vegan ranch is good enough to blow away any non dairy fans OUT OF THE WATER and it can be used as a dressing, dipping sauce, or sauce on a sandwich. Everyone needs a go to vinaigrette, my red wine will be that for you!

Vegan | Dairy-Free

Red Wine Vinaigrette

Ingredients 

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

    3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 

  • 1 tablespoon Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning salute blend or Ms. Dash original blend

  •  Large pinch, kosher salt

Procedure:

  1. Add all ingredients except olive oil, to a small bowl or a blender. Whisk to mix. Slowly add olive oil and whisk vigorously or blend until Incorporated.

  2. Once oil is all in, adjust seasoning to taste with salt.

Vegan Ranch

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups vegan mayo 

  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard 

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 

  • 1/4 cup onion flakes 

  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 

  • 1 tablespoon cream tartar 

  • 3-4 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped 

  • To taste salt & pepper

Procedure:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Add water to thin to desired consistency

  2. Adjust seasoning with salt to taste. 

CHEFS TIPS: Cream of tartar & fresh dill set them apart from other sauces.

Lemon Tahini

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup tahini 

  • 1 lemon, squeeze

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin 

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder To taste salt & pepper 

  • 1/2 -3/4 cup warm water 

Procedure:

  1. Whisk all ingredients except warm water in a small bowl.Slowly whisk in the warm water to reach desired consistency. You want it creamy, smooth, and light.

  2.  Adjust seasoning to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

Avocado Dressing

Ingredients 

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled

  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro 

  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled

  • 1 lime juice + zest

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin

  • Pinch, plus more to taste  kosher salt

  • 1/2 cup olive oil  

Procedure:

  1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT oil in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until combined. Slowly add in oil while the food processor is running.Adjust seasoning to taste with salt and cumin.
