Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients
3/4 cup whole rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for topping
1 apple, cored and chopped small
1 cup raw walnuts, chopped
Procedure:
Combine oats, non-dairy milk, chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Give it a good stir to distribute the chia seeds throughout the oat mix.
Portion overnight oats using two wide mouth 12 oz jars (with lids). Start by placing a few spoonfuls of the oat mixture in the bottom of each. Then add a layer of diced apples followed by a layer of chopped walnuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Repeat until all ingredients are used up. Top with a sprinkle of chia seeds, walnuts , cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon maple syrup on each.
